Product Engineer

Responsibilities:

1.Make timetable for new product development and engineering tasks and achieve each PD milestone on time ;
2.Work with US designers to develop product under target cost and expected quality from CAD ; Guide the prototype factory to build qualified sales sample and tooling sample ;
3.Organize design review meeting with vendor and Cross-functional team to ensure quality and production ;
4.Provide accurate engineering instruction to factories, merchandisers and PD team ;
5.Figure out the root cause of any project issues and lead the team to come up with solution ;
6.Work with vendor to clearly present our own requirement to secure the product's quality and manufacturing feasibility ;
7.Work with US counterpart to smoothly resolve the conflicts between consumer view point and manufacturing limits to secure timeline, cost and quality ;
8.Secure the production lead time and quality by reviewing, testing the production equipments before production started up ;
9.Capability of auditing if breakdown of material, and tooling cost provided by factories are reasonable .

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor degree in mechanical design or related majors ;
2.Proficient in Solidworks or be proficient in other CAD software and be able to pick up SW skill quickly;
3.At least 3 years working experience in toy development experience in outdoor toys and sports goods is preferred ;
4.Familiar with mechanical structures, molding technology , blow mold technology, metal processing and parts decoration ;
5.Experienced in project management ;
6.Familiar with US and EU toy standard ;
7.Good at both oral and written English and Chinese ;
8.Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and good interpersonal skills .
